For a Positano without barriers, for a Positano for everyone and for everyone
Transparency, attention to others and the protection of the public good: these are the founding pillars of Gabriella Guida and her “Su per Positano” training: fighting disabilities, discrimination and social inequalities is a concept that means everything and nothing in a country where the right of citizenship is precluded from the person with disabilities. People with disabilities in Positano need concrete actions and not slogans: a first aid station and a medical guard are needed; accessibility to sewer street is urgent, without paying tolls or incurring spurious fines, to reach the beach independently; it is urgent to install equipped public toilets, at least three, possibly located one in piazza dei mulini, another in the new church and finally on the beach near the Incanto; it is urgent to make the school accessible, still architecturally and socially inaccessible, and then the pharmacy, parapharmacies, shops, restaurants and bars; As the accessibility of all hotels is urgent, not one has a room to accommodate a person in a wheelchair; a lift is needed on the dock of the port for disembarking and boarding; furthermore, the public beach has neither job chairs nor a platform to reach the sea independently; finally, accessibility to the archaeological site of the Roman villa is urgent. These objectives, once achieved, will allow greater socialization and will allow every Positanese to really feel part of a family.
